Post Partum Care Services
A comprehensive examination of the newborn is conducted by the mother's side when the baby reaches approximately one to two hours old. Before the newborn exam, essential assessments such as the baby's lung function, heart rate, temperature, and APGAR scores are carefully evaluated while the mother holds her newborn in her arms. Our team is certified in CPR and neonatal pulmonary resuscitation, and equipped with the expertise to resuscitate babies if such intervention becomes necessary. The well-being and health of both mother and newborn are of utmost priority, ensuring a vigilant and secure environment during this critical postpartum period.
Checkups are scheduled as follows:
- 24-72 hour checkup
- 2-week checkup
- 6-week checkup
- 12-week checkup
