I am so thankful that I got to give birth to my firstborn at Plano birthplace a birth center in Dallas area. I interviewed a couple of different midwifery practices and truly appreciated the attention and statistics that PBP provided me.I saw Lindsay throughout most of my care and seriously, she is a rockstar! I was extra thankful that despite not being on call, she stayed after her clinic shift to continue working through the birth of our daughter. She has a super power for quickly getting the Doppler right to baby’s heartbeat.I had a dream birth experience and am forever grateful. Lindsay was always so encouraging and helped me believe that my body was created to birth my baby; Jeannine also reinforced this messaging!I love how PbP helps equip moms with all of the best relationships - they have great recommendations for Doula care, chiropractic, pelvic floor therapy, and more.I especially appreciated all of the education we received during our childbirth education classes which were held at the birth center.To top off all the benefits, having text support for 12 weeks post partum was wonderful. When we got sent home with our baby, we had a trusted source to consult with at our fingertips! They were so helpful to us new parents. It’s honestly hard to put into words how special Plano Birthplace is. After birthing both of my sweet kids there (18 months apart), I recommend this birthing center to everyone. They make you feel so comfortable and respect your decisions while keeping you informed. As a RN, I know in a lot of hospitals you become a room number rather than a person. I didn’t want that experience when birthing my children. Jeanine helped birth both my babies and she is the most positive yet practical, encouraging midwife! Even after giving birth, each postpartum appointment she talks about how amazing you did during labor and birthing.

Oh what a blessing it was to be able to experience my redemption birth at Plano Birthplace. Jeanine took me in at 37 weeks pregnant after having a gut feeling to follow my prayers for a natural birth. The whole experience was better than I could have imagined and I wish I could have had all my births there! Highly recommend.

As an experienced labor and delivery nurse I was very thoughtful (and some may say picky) about the care surrounding my own pregnancy and delivery. I have witnessed a wide range of birth experiences and knew I wanted only the best, which is why I chose Plano Birthplace. After speaking with Jeanine and Lindsay I felt confident that their training and experiences would guide them in providing me and my family with a high level of care. Their relationships and collaboration with other providers contributed to my level of trust in them. Near the end of my pregnancy I had some anxiety and worries about how the process would unfold, but their unwavering trust in my body and baby provided me with so much comfort. Every aspect of our experience at Plano Birthplace has exceeded my expectations. It is my dream that all women can birth surrounded by such support and peace. My only regret is that I waited until my third baby to work with them!

The midwives and birth assistant were phenomenal here. This was our first experience out of the hospital setting and wow! What a difference it made! I really do believe that their patient centered model of care ought to be how everything medically related should be.
